The Science Delusion : Freeing the Spirit of Enquiry.
Rupert Sheldrake , once described as the “leading Darwinist of his generation” and a deep admirer of the scientific method, yet continues to challenge scientific convention and the orthodoxy of the day. In this talk based on his new book “The Science Delusion” he will attempt to point out the limits of conventional knowledge by identifying “the ten dogmas of modern science” while systematically testing their underlying assumptions and showing where things are much less cut and dried than we might assume.
His Book “The Science Delusion: Freeing the Spirit of Enquiry” (“Science Set Free” in North America) is published by Coronet
*Sheldrake was a fellow of Clare College, Cambridge, and a Research Fellow of the Royal Society. From 2005-2010 he was director of the Perrott-Warrick Project funded from Trinity College, Cambridge. He holds posts at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, the Graduate Institute in Connecticut.
